There is no perfect height to make your throws. The higher you throw the balls, the longer it will take for them to come down, so you have more time to get everything right. The lower you throw the balls, the more likely they are to be vaguely accurate, and to land where you want them, meaning you have to spend less time correcting yourself, and hence, you have more time to get everything right .... Somewhere, between the two extremes, is the perfect height for you. Have fun finding it, but for beginners, it's usually just over head height.
